Happy Hour was fabulous and the food couldn’t have been better. We will be back.
We love Italian food and with so many options available in San Diego, this one did not meet our standards. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. But the food had little or no flavor! The pasta bolognese was tasteless, tasted very watered down? I don’t think you can fix that? We had Caesar salad and a pizza as well, none of it was up to par. I would not recommend this one.
Good Italian food - nicely decorated for Christmas.
We always have a great meal and time at Osteria Panevino. This was no exception. We started with artichokes and stuffed squash blossoms. After that we had cacio e pepe pasta and Osso Bucco. Everything was delicious. We had a nice bottle of wine with dinner. The service was great.
We found Osteria Panevino while visiting from Orange County for a night, and it quickly became a favorite. The location in the Gaslamp is perfect, the staff is wonderful, and the food is consistently great. We’ve gotten to know one of the managers, Gioia, quite well, and now it’s our go-to spot every time we’re downtown. Always a fantastic experience!

Fantastic food and service- the prosciutto pizza was amazing.
Made reservations prior to going to a show at Balboa. This was our first time and we had a great dinner! The food was delicious, especially the vegetarian lasagna and the Gnocchi. The wine was also delicious. Highly recommend this family owned spot.
