Dinner was awesome! We had the cheese wheel pasta. The service was exceptional!
My wife had the bolognese. She was so happy as this is the first time that she's had an actual authentic bolognese since we were in Italy. Actually made with veal rather than just hamburger and was a beautifully seasoned ragu. I had the short rib ravioli and the fungi side dish. It was amazing. Our waitress was a sweet young lady who is actually from Italy and we'l were able to chat about experiences in her homeland. My wife was able to top off her meal with an affogato. Wonderful dinner experience. The food and wine were very tasty and the service was excellent! It was a by warm inside with no fans but they kept the door open which let some fresh air in.
The food was excellent and are waitress was awesome. The customer service at this restaurant is awesome. They do not disappoint.
We dined here last June and had one of the best dining experiences ever. This time, not so much. We brought friends with us to share our experience but this time the restaurant was basically empty. There were a few couples on the patio but no one inside. Our server took our order but when delivered it was incorrect. Our friend had to wait longer for her correct fish order. Osteria Panevino is our favorite Italian Restaurant in the Gaslamp Quarter. Their salads, pastas, and tiramisu are particular stand-outs. They also provide a specially priced menu when Comic-Con is in town, which we also appreciate. Great food and great service!

My brother and I dined here and had a wonderful dinner. We started off with the zucchini blossoms stuffed with fresh ricotta and mozzarella. Although it tasted good, it was not exceptional, and I would not order it again. I had the AGNOLOTTI DI CARNE homemade large ravioli stuffed with short rib which was delicious. The description says cream sauce, which is in my opinion is incorrect since it was more of a brown mushroom sauce. Hopefully, they’ll change the description on the menu.
