Great service. Great Food! Staff was very personable and friendly. We have had dinner there every Halloween for the last five years.
Great food and friendly service. Amount of time between sitting down and being greeted by server could have been a little shorter based on restaurant not being busy at the time we sat down. There was one other table of diners at the time.
We held a large event here and the service and food were outstanding.
If your appetite is craving classic farm-fresh Italian, this is your place. We stopped in for a drink after dinner one night and came back the next for dinner. Penne al Cinghiale (the wild boar sausage was excellent) and Pollo Siciliano (perfect "crisp" to the eggplant and tomato) with a Sicilian syrah. Delicioso! Visit Cheyenne at the bar.
Great choice for dinner before a show at the Balboa Theatre
Some in our group enjoyed their meal but a few of us were disappointed with the pasta dishes. While the sauces were tasty the pasta was overcooked & gummy. The pizza appetizer was different but good. The calamari had several pieces which were chewy. Disappointing since we went there based on the prior reviews.
Food was amazing. We are from Boston and it was like being a North End restaurant.
The food and service were great. We come here every time we come to San Diego.
Best gnocchi I've ever had - squid ink pasta slightly less so. Nice seating out on the street - much louder inside! Will definitely go again.
