Best, most unique lasagna I’ve ever had. Sauce, flavor, cheese was world class !!!
Specials are overpriced - got a spaghetti and tomato sauce dish($55) that came with a “half lobster” and it really was half a lobster perched on top, antenna, 5 legs, brain, all the guts, eyeballs, and a very very tiny tail (the only part you really eat on a lobster). The portions were suffient, the food and vine were good, the street noise was still acceptable
I read the reviews and booked this place for our evening in the Gas lamp area on our holidays. The service was fantastic, the food was very good. I had the lobster ravioli. My sons chicken parmigiana was so tasty. My twin girls had the kids menu which was good value: The cannoli for desert was delicious too. The bill was higher than I expected but everything we had was very good so can’t complain.
Food was delicious. I had pesto ravioli and a bruschetta appetizer. Service was a little slow. Saw my server just chatting to another employee for awhile when we were waiting for the check and clearly done eating. Ambiance was nice but beware it’s on a very busy street so if you go at night expect it to be loud
Everyone in the group liked their food and the waiter did a great job picking wine and appetizers came out in a beautiful presentation for the group. Wonderful evening.
Great Italian food, fine service, and wonderful atmosphere. We’ll be back!!!
This has fast become our favorite Italian restaurant. Food was so delicious and we felt incredibly welcome. And they gifted us with the most scrumptious tiramisu for our 35 anniversary.
One on many Italian restaurants in the Gas Lamp District. Overall good food for a busy Saturday night. Restaurant was understaffed so getting bread, utensils..took some time. Food was good with homemade seafood pasta and a smallish order of steamed clams and mussels. Worth a visit and sitting outside is a bonus in the San Diego summer.
