We love this place and every time we are here for work we stop in. We have had the same lovely server the past two times and she is amazing. I’m sorry that I didn’t remember her name to add to the review. We shared the zucchini blossom and burrata appetizers as well as the risotto, chicken parm, and we NEVER MISS the gnocchi. It’s the best gnocchi we have ever had.
It was our Wedding anniversary. The service was good and so was the food. The waiter brought us a surprise dessert for our anniversary.

The best Italian food I’ve had in SD
Food and service were excellent! Beautiful restaurant. Filet of sole was to die for. Will return next time I’m in San Diego.
They were so nice and the food was great. We got there about 45 minutes before our reservation but they accommodated us right away. The food was superb and got an enthusiastic thumbs up from my Italian wife.
Cavetelli pasta dish was good, but the stuffed sole was chewy with too much breading. Veal Paso buccaneers was tasty but the saffron risotto was below expectations. Service was very attentive though.
We ate outside on the street. The food was pretty good. The service was really good. Overall it was okay Italian food. Not the best I have had in San Diego but a good place if you’re looking for an Italian place in the gaslamp district.
