Vodka sauce tasted more like tomato basil soup. Bread is subpar. Good wine list. Good eggplant appetizer. Huge portion of fish which was cooked perfectly. Homeless folks coming up to us at outside table is not good. Loud music from neighboring restaurants.
Good food good service
We were at a conference in San Diego and had a table of 10 to 12 guests depending on what time of night (a few joined for dessert). Our wonderful waiters were from Italy and their recommendations were spot-on. The sea bass was delicious and the the waiter brought Tiramisu for one of our guests for his birthday. Everyone (including the table to our left) sang Happy Birthday and it was a magical night. Outside seating is great for people-watching.

We had a beautiful time at Osteria Panevino. We sat outside and our server was so nice and attentive. The food was a 10/10. We will definitely come back!

Delicious food, great service. Enjoyed our table on the front patio, except for the construction noise across the street. Would definitely recommend overall!
My date and I shared a grilled veg appetizer, a salad and a special seafood pasta. Everything was delicious and came out of the kitchen amazingly fast. Servers were attentive and friendly. Bread was amazing. It was a wonderful evening. Would definitely go back.
Being from the east coast and New Jersey, it's hard to match but this restaurant did have delicious Italian food. And the service was very good. We ordered a chicken and eggplant dish and a cavatelli with chicken and broccoli dish and both of them were very good. And they have very good wine selection. I would recommend this place. And try them again when I'm in San Diego.
