The food was good with nice presentation. The service was excellent, my husband asked for something off of the menu and is was no problem. They did not have our first choice on their wine list, but we found another which was good. Good prices. We were happy with the experience
We had a wonderful meal with memorable food. We did sit outdoors, so the street life of the gaslamp district in San Diego was “interesting.” If you are there when the seafood pasta special is available, order it. It was impressive, a very large portion of food, and highly enjoyed by our guests. Frankly, it is probably a dish that could easily be shared by two people. The expense rating of this restaurant is probably not entirely accurate. It should likely be three dollar signs instead of two.

Very welcoming hostess and other staff. Our waitress Deborah was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. We are just visiting but if we lived here we would definitely be back!
Returned a second time because the first was so good. We were able to eat outside. The service was excellent; the food very good.
Our waiter (whom I believe may also be a bartender?) was fantastic. Unfortunately, none of us recall his name. Our party of four shared several salads, entrees, and sides -- all of which were exceptional. The porcini risotto and the cauliflower side dish were real standouts. Next time we visit San Diego, we'll definitely be back to this restaurant.
