I witnessed one of the employees (Niamh Nowland) laugh about a friend having a black child. The joke made no sense as it was simply mean spirited. The community doesn’t appreciate your employees treating others this way.

Can’t always trust every professional. Please look elsewhere for caring and honest professionals because Owl Creek failed us. As a new dog owner, you want to choose a vet that you trust and look up to. We chose Owl Creek based on high ratings and great reviews. We got our 10 month Australian Shepherd from a previous owner and was given paperwork on her vaccines (as well as told she was spayed but wasn’t given record of it). At the appointment to establish care at Owl Creek, we gave vaccine records that we were given from pre... read more

I was taken advantage of, and I want to warn others about this vet clinic. I’ve had my dog established here since the beginning of the year with no issues until now. Recently, he developed a cough after a hike. When I tried to schedule an appointment, I was told they mainly take walk-ins during the week. Since I had open availability, I brought him in. At check-in, I made it clear that he was coughing and gagging, but not bringing anything up twice. I even mentioned that he had the exact same cough earlier in the year, and... read more

On May 30, 2024 I took my 8 year cat Jack to this vet (first visit). Jack was experiencing signs of a urinary tract infection and needed a vet who had appointments right away. On arrival, who I assumed was the vet told me Jack was completely blocked, his stomach was about to burst and needed care right away or he’d die. She rambled on with all the things she needed to do and said for what she needed to do it’d be about $2,000. She then stated after her ‘treatment’ he’d need to go to an emergency hospital for two days and tha... read more

Took my 2 cats to hospital for emergency because they licked flea medicine off of each other and became extremely sick one was paralyzed. After not hearing from them all day around 630 I called and they were so sorry they forgot about my cats. That was my first visit and every visit after that was the same. Recently my cat had teeth surgery there which is truly nerve-racking and through it all I did not get to talk to the doctor. Again more apologies. The frequency of lateness and non-personable doctor combined with being th... read more

I have read the glowing reviews of Dr. Ayers. But if you look at Yelp you will find the many warnings about Owl Creek. If by posting the account of my experience at Owl Creek spares anyone the same terrible encounter It is worth the sadness. Four days ago I took my beloved dog Patrick to Owl Creek. My husband and I had adopted Patrick after he was rescued during the blizzard a few years ago. Being seniors ourselves, we adopt senior pets knowing that our time together may be shorter. I also understand that COVID requires cha... read more

Worst veterinarian ever. They took advantage of Covid 19 to charge me over $1000.00 for an exam, 2 xrays, and 2 prescriptions. no one ever told me what i was going to be charged. they just left me in my car for 2 hours, with their front door locked, then gave me the surprise insane bill for over $1000.00 at 8:40pm. they close at 8:00pm. i was so shocked i had to give them 2 credit cards. my cat had surgery and a two day hospital stay for 1200.00 at a different veterinarian. dont trust them. im going to sue them for... read more

Owl Creek has been my pet's Vet since 2016 I recently received a statement from a visit in Feb 2020 in which Owl Creek made an accounting error requesting a payment and charging me a late fee for a bill I had NO prior knowledge of! I called and spoke to Marcy the office manager in which she made clear I still had to pay the bill even though Owl Creek made the error. I contacted Pet's for Patriots who referred me to Owl Creek to intervene to no avail. I have paid the bill including the late fee however Owl Creek has lost a cl... read more
