Owl Creek has been my pet's Vet since 2016 I recently received a statement from a visit in Feb 2020 in which Owl Creek made an accounting error requesting a payment and charging me a late fee for a bill I had NO prior knowledge of! I called and spoke to Marcy the office manager in which she made clear I still had to pay the bill even though Owl Creek made the error. This place is a RIP OFF!!! Sooooo overpriced!!!!! It’s ridiculous!!!!! Took my dog to the groomer here and she got kennel cough. They charged me over $500 to get her treated for it. Will never return here and I’ll never recommend this place.
WAYYY OVERPRICED!!!.. 1700 for a tooth extraction .! WTF!! Getting it done for $285 at PADS in Newport News!! Thanks for the preliminary visit cost of $1000 ... BUT NO THANKS!!!

Hated it. My dog was hurt under there care and they took no responsibility. NEVER will take dog there again.

All they care about is getting their money for unnecessary tests, they do not care about the well being of your pet!
BEWARE!!!!! Unless you want them to call Animal Control on you for refusing to pay for expensive tests you had done a month ago at a different vet, DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I wanted them to only treat my 24 year old cat's cold symptoms before until I could get him into his normal vet the next day, during regular hours. I've never been treated so horribly and was actually told to leave by the vet herself because she was unwilling to give him a simple cold remedy!! Owl Creek was my veterinary of choice for the last few years. The staff is friendly, I was always able to get appointments quickly if needed, and the Veterinarians were very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my last experience with them resulted in many unnecessary labs and x-rays which landed me with an astronomical bill. My 5 year old terrier had an upset stomach (minimal vomiting, and still eating as normal) and was told that the best course of action was to run blood work and do x-rays. Waited 45 minutes in exam room with no one having any urgency to take care of my service dog.
The staff was so nice, but the vet absolutely killed the experience for me. On my first visit she asked me why I had adopted my cat, because she was growling (she's very vocal) and on my second visit when I brought my new dog in she made a rude comment again. Their prices are way too high for them to be anything but super friendly.
