Great Winter Getaway We chose a great winter to leave the cold, snowy Great Lakes for a month, and we really chose a fantastic place to stay when we rented 1 Upwind. Just as described, Bill and Susan’s lovely home is spacious, light, airy, and immaculate. The layout is excellent and we loved the hardwood floors in the main living areas. Danke für alles! More than excellent! Four Germans golfers - parents with daughter and her husband- stayed two wonderful weeks in this perfect vacation home. Flooded with sunlight, clean, tastefully furnished, very well equipped (espacially the kitchen) and so much room - in Germany everything is tiny ;-) - we felt comfortable from the first moment. Wonderful Condo We have stayed in several units in Captain's Walk and your has been our favorite. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The ocean views are fabulous from the covered deck as well as from the master suite. The unit is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The children's nook is nice for those with children or grandchildren. The grounds and heated pool are well maintained and we were only steps from the beach. We will definitely be back again next year.

First visit to Hilton Head I really can not say enough about our wonderful vacation in your lovely home. This was my husbands' and I first visit to Hilton Head. We fell in love with the area and with this vacation rental. We have had many beach rentals over the years and this is the nicest by far. Spacious and beautiful home away from home! The description provided in this listing is accurate and is complete with details! The home is nestled in Palmetto Dunes and is a 10-15 min walk to the beach. Upon our arrival, it was nice to find the home already stocked with essentials like hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels and shampoo/conditioner so we did not have to rush out to the store after a long car ride. First class We had a wonderful holiday at this beautifully decorated and spacious home. This home has everything you could want for a great family vacation. It is close to shopping , the beach, and lots of places to eat. I would recommend it to one or more families. Thanks to the Mosers for easy directions and being so helpful.

AMAZING! Our family of four stayed at Bill and Susan's 1 Upwind home and absolutely loved it! The home is so spacious and bright. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very roomy and master BR has a magnificent view. The kitchen is very well stocked and organized. Our family loved playing pool and watching the baseball playoffs at the same time on the large TV in the game room. Beautiful Home with Amazing View! My husband and I had a relaxing visit at 1 Up Wind. It didn’t take us very long to feel at home. We enjoyed sitting outside and looking at the beautiful lake and discovering the wildlife living around the lake. The home is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The short drive or relaxing walk to the beach was very nice. Some of our favorite restaurants we discovered during our visit to Hilton Head were the Sea Shack, Hudson’s and the Boathouse. We can’t wait to go back to 1 Up Wind!
