Location was great if you don't mind 10-15 minutes walking time to downtown dining & attractions, which we certainly didn't. The room was fine. The property is a bit sprawling, and seems to have quite a variety of accommodations, so my advice would be to do your research. This is not a hotel with cookie cutter rooms, so you want to make sure you get the right fit. Nice folks here, and the low key continental breakfast (more like snacks really) was fine. Grounds were extensive, plenty of grassy areas for pets or children to play. Firepits, barbeques, picnic tables and lawn chairs to relax. Down side: my dog had lots of grass burs in his fur every time we took him for a walk.

Lovely quaint property with every amenity. Clean quiet room. We would stay there again. Yummy pastries for continental breakfast offering. A great getaway for Fredericksburg.

I loved the separation. We stayed in a duplex which felt much more hospitable than your standard hotel room. The mattress wasn't to my wife or I's liking, but I did like the location.
