Sometimes not everything in life goes as planned. From start to finish, the PennyMac team worked hard to overcome obstacles and ultimately got the job done.
Everything conveyed to us, the only mistake was our address was typed wrong on some forms
Refinancing my loan to a lower rate allowed me to save money and it was handled really well by the Pennymac team, the process was easy and my loan closed amazingly fast. My only regret is that I should have done it sooner and possibly would have qualified for an even lower interest rate.
To be honest the process took a really long time but once tanairy Rodriguez got assigned it went alor smoother , she always called me back and at times listened to me get upset , but in the end it worked out . Tanairy made the loan go smoother .
Tyra did a great job! Kept it easy and clear
I don't think it's Tyra's fault. She doesn't have control over if or when I would receive the $1000 closing credit. I never received the credit, even though early on I was told the request was submitted and being processed. Every time I asked Tyra about it, she said she would ask. But again, I don't think she has control over it.
The communication was extremely poor. Each time I was asked for something, I provided it. Each time we were supposed to close, the goal post was moved. I was never told how much I would need at closing. The estimate was completely off. I had to come up with $25,000 additional dollars. I told Anna I was being gouged and overpaying. She insisted I wasn't. I received nearly $10,000 back at closing because I overpaid. Once we were supposed to close, and she brought up my student loans and said I hadn't made a payment. I think that I communicated with Hilda Kuklinski twice during this process. Most of my questions and concerns were addressed by whomever answered when I called.
We would highly recommend Pennymac. Ammie Mack was very helpful and was always there to answer our questions.
