Better communication within your team process. We were told our first mortgage payment was scheduled for March 1st. We get to closing and find out it is February 1st. Last minute requests caused significant, unneeded stress.

I have had no issues or concerns regarding Leah. She kept in contact with status of application and required document activity. However, when I got the original closing estimate it showed I would get ~$400 back at closing and all of the other numbers were accurate to the best of my knowledge. The next iteration of the closing document had a full year of property taxes added as a prepaid amt. plus 4 months of property taxes for escrow. The overall experience was rather smooth and effortless on my half. Communication was always on point and we didn’t have to worry about anything.

Overall the experience was good. However, when the amount of the loan and the monthly payment amount changed, I would have liked notification and an explanation. For example, if you take your vehicle to a mechanic and he gives you a quote for a repair and that estimate changes during the repair process, he is required by law to notify the person and get their approval for the new amount. This is my only problem with the process.

Gianna made the process very easy she answered all questions I had and kept in touch through the whole process. I believe my loan was held up by the underwriter being lazy and slow and took a month longer than the initial closing date that I received to request one more document that I could’ve sent immediately if requested in the beginning.
