Great and smooth experience
When my wife & I first started this process, we thought "Oh no, here we go again". Our previous interactions with past lenders was less than stellar. Daymian Scott has shattered those past experiences. DS called us every week and gave us an update even though there was nothing to update. Review the file for this refi. This was a dismal experience, so much so that I am looking for a new company to refi my other mortgage. There was no follow up, incorrect documents were requested (my husbands income, which wasn’t on the app and my rental income was high also wasn’t included in the app), and the loan documents were wrong on many occasions, I never heard from Brandon Glenn after the initial app and Shay- I never spoke to her once. Documents needing to be submitted multiple times. Wire transfer options not explained or even introduced caused us to pay additional interest on a loan payoff that Pennymac insisted be paid through them at closing.
Other than some requests for documents being made more than once everything was timely and efficient. The ability for me to view documents I uploaded only went around in a circle which would have prevented the problem. I would have been able to view to make sure the upload was there and I could not. The delay ended up being a benefit to us as our first payment is in March, and the pleasant process of this simple refinance and the people on your team and Boston Title.
