Personal Service Answered Questions Patience Timeliness Knowledge of process & documents
This was the worst mortgage process I have ever gone through. Even this survey comes at a time where there are still unanswered questions about my closing, that I am waiting on written responses. Every touch-point I have had with your company has been bad - bordering on incompetent. I have no confidence that my mortgage has been re-processed correctly, and have serious concerns about the integrity and competence of your organization.
Charles was great! But the whole experience with Penny Mac was horrible. I hope to never do business with Penny Mac ever again. I have not been able to reach my loan specialist since she was assigned. Numerous emails and phone calls. Never in office. She would write me a email on Saturday. I would ask for a call back. Or email. Just some sort of communication. Never got it. And my question is why write me on days penny mac is closed?
I was unsure as to whether to refinance or not but they proposed an even better loan and rate after looking at my file.
Make All your customers feel like they are valued. I should not have to threaten to cancel the re fi or demand to speak to the loan officer's manager in order to get information or calls returned. I made several calls and left several messages to no avail. I thought that by using the same mortgage company I've had the last 7 years things would be easier but that was not the case. Your company has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and that's unfortunate.
Overall experience was good, but we experience some lag time in the processing stage.
Peter Harris was great and quickly responsive when I had a question or needed info quickly. There were a few other issues and confusion with other people I talked with or had correspondence from, and I was not at all happy with that. I was pleased with the quick approval and funding process, however.
I really appreciate the clear communication from day one. I appreciate the competitive rates and pricing. Most of all, I really appreciate that the PennyMac team heard my concern/need for an on-time close and worked hard to make that happen! I will definitely be using them again!
All smooth process and I was made aware of all that was happening with the loan!
