My rating is based solely on our service technician who would receive 10 stars if I could. Josh is very professional, courteous, respectful, addresses all of our concerns, and always arrives on time. He's definitely an asset to the company and I would highly recommend him for any position he applies for. My only draw back for the company is you're locked into a long contract when you only need the service during a certain time of the year. Top notch company to deal with! We have been using this company for about a year. Our tech , Keith , is great and always helpful . We recently had a situation with a tenant thinking she had a problem with pests in her apartment because of her declining health issues and there was no way to talk her out of it even though her family saw none. Have been using this company for the past year now. We have always had the same exterminator ( Alfonso ) since with this company. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable and a total asset to this company . Always takes the time to make sure we are not having any issues at the house . Would highly recommend this company and this employee!
Perma Treat helped save the day for me and my clients. I needed an inspection for Wood destroying insects for a real estate closing. Another company let me down big time. NOT to worry I called and talked to the very helpful and friendly staff at Perma Treat and they had me get in touch with Josh! Who I have nothing but praise for, he was out at the property within 15 mins, did a very detailed inspection and had the office fax me the report in less than 1 hour. I have now interrupted 2 instances where they have prayed on the elderly leading them to believe they have a mice, rat and bat infestation. My aunt was told she had a huge infestation, when she did not, showed her pictures of her attic with mice feces and rat/bat droppings and pushed her by scare tatics of signing up for a $25k repair, I halted them and called my own pest control person and there was ABSOLUTELY NO sign of infestation!! 2nd instance a client of mine same tactic-they must be stopped, beware of this and run awa... read more
Once they take your money, they don't return phone calls or texts. We have an unfinished job and no idea when they will even return a phone call.
Permatreat installed a partial encapsulation of my crawl space. They sell an annual inspection. I received a bill in October for the annual renewal. I called the Fredricksburg office - 804-798-9671 - asking when the service was completed. I was told October 6. I checked my cameras, and no one was on the property on October 6. I told Melanie about that, and she put me on hold. When she returned, she said they were 'supposed' to be there on the 6th, but couldn't make it. We re-scheduled for Oct 30. PermaTreat is not a safe choice for big repairs or improvements to your home. in my case, they did less than half of the work contracted. I have repeatedly seen a low level of organization and professionalism since this work began. I deeply regret hiring PermaTreat for this work, I now stand to lose thousands of dollars due to their inability to perform the job.
Often late or don't show up at all! Poor customer service! After over 20 years using this company for home pest control with little/no problems, we had to fire them and find another service. Apparently they had a major staffing change in late 2021 and service zoomed downhill fast. More often than not, the technician didn't show up for our STANDING monthly appointment. No warning.
