I have used Permatreat for pest control services and Christmas light install. Beginning in 2020, the service was prompt. Things deteriorated to not knowing when or if they will show up. I signed a contract for Christmas light installation. I did not get what I contracted. I was promised annual installation for a few. I am told, I will not get installation this year. Not happy.

I've never used Permatreat services before but after what I experienced just now, I am 200% I will never call for services. I leave in a townhouse, parking spaces are assigned. Came home to find a Permatreat car parked in front of my house, he had parked so badly, taking half my other parking spot. I approached the individual and told him he could not park where he was parked, this guy immediately got on the defensive as said something like "i called you, im supposed to be here!" Terrible company. They are not upfront about cost of services and tack on additional fees without informing you. This is a company that is only after the money and hook you into a contract. The product is not even very effective. I have watched them perform the service via my home security system while I have been away and the yard guard is a joke. They casually apply it around the perimeter of your home, but isn't it intended to guard your entire yard? This company is a joke. Never again.

We also met with a slick salesman this year,promised to install lights,wreaths the whole works. We signed contract and given a date in dec., they never showed up or called, I had to contact them and was told they made a mistake on scheduling, then never showed up and not called, I called and was told crew walked off, they didn't honor the signed contract, very unprofessional and will be looking to find new vendor.

If you want basic pest control, the technicians are nice. That is the only reason they get a star. Do NOT let them sell you anything else. They cannot do the work. They do not communicate after initial contact. They still charge full price for incomplete work and pretend it's done. Do yourself a favor and use anyone else.

Be very careful if you decide to use them for having your Christmas lights. Last year, there slick salespeople convinced use to sign with them a three year contract. Not only did they NOT install the lights when promised, but installed the wring the of lights because they "did not have the right ones in stock". This year, we contacted them in September to install our lights. Three times, they have given us a "promised" installation date, ALL three times they have not shown up. They use dishonest billing practices. They informed me that I had not paid for work completed. After paying for the work done they informed me I was paid up until 6/21. I would never use this business. I still saw pests after my home was treated. The sales men showed me terminates on my property. However, other reputable organizations informed me I did not have a problem. They are scammers.

I have tried several times to contact Orkin to cancel my service and transfer it to the people who are buying my home. I paid the entire year in advance. Evidently they don't care about that. Instead of trying to make this a seamless event they just ignore messages. So if you use their service, DO NOT pay up front. They are very non responsive once they get your money.

They were hired to collect a water sample for my mortgage company who was supposed to pay them. The guy they sent lost the sample and came back for another one which he failed with false document. Funny how the sample the company said failed was okayed by two different labs after that. Now they are trying to get me to pay them when I never called or arranged service with them. Avoid at all costs!
