I have been using Pet Paradise for several years when it comes to grooming and doggie day. The staff have always taken very good care of my Braxton. The facility is is well kept, clean and orderly. Although Braxton doesn't swim in the pool he does love to lay in the shallow ends.
I feel like my dog was treated poorly because he is not neutered. He is fully potty trained and does not use the bathroom in his cage unless he is not taken outside. When I picked him up, he smelled strongly like urine, even though he was clean and freshly bathed before drop-off. It smelled like he had been laying in his urine for days. The urine smell was very strong, especially underneath his belly and on his paws, which has never happened before. This also made me concerned that he may not have had enough water. Doggy day camp gets so much energy out of our little ones and they love it! Once you go continuously the staff really gets to know your little ones and it’s very impressive!
DON'T TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I picked up my two 8 mos old pups after 5 days in a private suite since they were in tact. Never once saw them outside or on camera anywhere in the facility. They were broke out in hives and emaciated looking. When I asked for the remainder of their food, somehow they had "just" ran out before I got there and that the hives had also "just" occurred. I am being generous with the 2 stars I'm giving because it was the first (and last) time my dog stayed there over the Thanksgiving week. I don't blame the associates that took care of my pup , I blame the training or lack there if they received. The communication was poor at best, I would call and got conflicting information for the 2 days my dog was there. The bright spot was a manager named George who was clear and honest but the whole time I was supposed to get pictures updating me in my dogs status and did not receive it... read more
