Why does it take so long to get medication ordered? It shouldn't take more than 12 hours, I am waiting now more than 24 hours and my dog is suffering, do they not care???? Picked up my medication today and they charged me more than what they said it would be and they wouldn't allow me to take half of the pills so I could afford the price, I would have to wait another 48 hours to have the Doctor ok getting half of them which was a financial issue not a medical issue. Don't go here!
This place is All about "Testing" whether your Pet needs a test or not! Tested my Chihuahua for Heartworm, and NEVER ASKED or AUTHORIZED the test! (sure, I got to Pay for it) (They requested a Heartworm test for my Shepherd) I've asked twice (September 1 & September 7) for a Refill for Heartgard and Nexgard. I showed up to get it, and No One has a Clue what's going on! INCOMPETENCE must be a Requirement to work here! Too many other Competent People to take care of my Dog! Use at your Discretion... Would NOT RECOMMEND IF Y... read more
I have been going to this vet for 5 years and the office staff has gone down hill. I was told to pick up my cat from surgery at 5pm. I arrived at 5:04pm and called and let them know I was here to pick up my cat, since you are not allowed inside. The woman who answered the phone said that she would let them know I was here, well an hour and 15 mins go by before someone calls me to tell me that my cat is ready for pick up! I was already there at the time I was supposed to be and the woman just did not tell them I was there to ... read more
Very disappointed with Pet Street care. As a nurse of 41 years I know my dog had a soft tissue injury as he was putting weight on his front leg and there was no signs of pain. I went to Pet Street for anti inflammatory Rx and was told absolutely NO he had to be seen. I took my dog and the bill was $300. There was a physical exam (why you need to check his ears, etc for a extremity injury) I have no clue. The exam did not reveal any major difficulties and he was using the leg lightly. The doctor stated x-rays should be done t... read more
I would not recommend Pet Street Veterinary unless you want to spend loads of money and get no results or unless you want to lose your pet. My dog should have been sent to the hospital on the first day but instead was told to go home and if he gets worse, what did that mean, to bring him to hospital. Brought him back to Pet Street the next morning to be told that he had a 50/50 chance of survival and to get him on liquids and antibiotics which they did for an exorbitant amount of money. Did not offer any food or water to t... read more
I am extremely disappointed in Pet Street. My cat had been showing signs of illness, so on Christmas Eve my husband called to get her in to be seen. Our regular vet was unfortunately closed and we were desperate to get her better. The clinic and staff were satisfactory, but after paying almost $500 for multiple testing and unnecessary medications, my cat continued declining in the following week. She had a fever of 103 which common sense would tell you she is fighting something, but she was misdiagnosed with an inflamed GI t... read more
I took my German Shepherd for a routine spaying and she never came out alive due to their negligence I lost my baby. Received a called from the doctor that she did FINE and can pick her up. 3 hours later when due to pick her up she was dead with no explanation of what happened.
Called $48 office walk in, $100 blood work. Couldn't diagnose why my dog wasn't eating. Went to pay for visit, brought $200 vet always a little more expensive at end, $503 visit with no diagnosis? My loving dog died a wk later w us at 4 in the morning...
Business response:
Dear George, First of all my condoleances for the loss of your dog. After reading your comments I think it's fair to share my thoughts as well. When you came in with your dog for a consultation he was very sick and had not eaten for several days. After an extensive work up we recommended you to go to an emergency cllnic for hospitalization due to the poor condition of your pet ( it was the end of the day) and come back the next day for continuing care. Unfortunately you didn't go to the emergency clinic, neither came back ... read more
