Glad there's a walk in clinic nearby when my original vet can't get me in. But holy cow!!! The waits. It was an hour wait to get in a room, 45 minutes to get seen by a vet. Then I was called to come pick up at 4:30. Showed up at 4:15. Didn't get called into a room until 5:15. Doctor didnt come in until 5:35 to spend less than a minute going over bloodwork. We brought our senior dog down for end of life. He was 15 and so very loved. The staff were super good with him as we brought him in and the nurse explained the process [ as we had put down a cat some 10 years ago ]. They were so good with us and showed us so much sympathy. The doctor explained the process again and they gave us as much time as we needed with him before he passed. My daughter and I left the room but I propped the door open to see the doctor confirm he had passed fully. At no point did I feel rushed to leave... read more

I can’t recommend PetCare Clinic enough. They’re the only true walk-in clinic in the area that accepts clients during all operating hours — for emergencies, sick visits, vaccines, or quick medication refills. The wait can be a little long sometimes, but the quality of care makes it completely worth it. I’ve had animals my whole life, and this is one of the few places I’ve seen handle anxious or difficult pets with calm and kindness. Update with new review* We took our cat their recently to get spayed and have her first visit. They were able to get her in the next day whereas I would have had to wait two weeks with our normal vet. She had stated peeing around the house so I didnt want to wait that long. They did a great job, no complaints. We had to take our Bangel here because our vet was closed, and he had an abscess behind his right ear. The staff was friendly. I have a sweet 16 year old Boston terrier girl who has developed heart issues recently and also needed some dental work. We went in and were seen by Dr. Kevin Ames. He has seen her since she was a puppy. Dr. Ames has always listened to our concerns and devises a plan of action for treatment and throughly explains the procedures and recommendations. It is obvious that Dr. Ames truly cares about his patients by his gentle compassionate mannerisms when seeing your furry family member. I highly recommend Dr. Ames and his staff.
