With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Haha I got myself a good one here. So I’ve only ever tried this place once before and gotten myself the Dave’s 2 (2 silders and fries) but this time I added a shake with that granted I’ve not had them here last time. I noticed they had different toppings which honestly made me crave it pretty much instantly. WOW…Dave’s Hot Chicken absolutely crushes it with their cauliflower… crispy, flavorful, and honestly, it might be one of the best “chicken replacement” options I’ve ever had. If you're in the mood for some next-level comfort food, their cheese fries are also a vibe. From the melty cheese to all the right seasonings, they’re the perfect side to amp up your meal. I have eaten Hatie B’s, Houston’s, you name it. Take away the spice and it’s flavorless. This is decent but definitely on an LA Hype train. But the meat is cooked perfectly and juicy so has to be a 4. The sauce is basically just fry sauce.
I ordered delivery at midnight on 02/24. I always feel weird about it and hope the workers dont hate me. But the crew that night was beyond kind and amazing. I demand they get praise from their manager. I ordered 2 sandwiches and an extra tender. They gave us 2 GIANT pieces of chicken and a really good sized 3rd one. This crew was awesome and deserve major props!!
