This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Had never eaten here before. Looked at them menu. Thought it sounded good so we decided to try it. Did not disappoint. Had several small plates and a couple entrees. Everything was delicious!
I have been to PCG many times.. I have never had anything that was even just ok.. everything is always excellent. The service is also always excellent. It is where I take guests for dinner when they visit.

The eggplant bites are always a favorite but i recall there used to be some goat cheese and a bit more sauce, when i asked the waitress there seemed to be some confusion, otherwise i was celebrating Rose Mofford's birthday (June 10th) with friends one of whom knew Ms Mofford. It was very pleasent. My friends all enjoyed the burgers which are always top notch.
We were celebrating my sisters birthday. They drove up from Tucson and everything was great. So nice to see family again and the birthday cake with candle was the perfect ending to a great meal and our server was wonderful. We will be back.

Had an enjoyable late lunch. I started with margarita that was a large tumbler of sweet & sour mix, not a hint of tequila. Our server cheerfully replaced it with a cold delicious local IPA. My.birger was excellent with an ample serving of shoestring fries. My dining companion had the PCG pasta which he devoured. We will be back.
