Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Kitchen service a little slower than normal, but is was the Saturday before moms day and we were not in a hurry. Servers were good, knowledgeable and the food was as it always is - terrific / excellent. If I could get away with licking the plate, I would!
