This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Excellent menu and service! Great local, long established restaurant that always offers a first-rate experience.
Had an enjoyable late lunch. I started with margarita that was a large tumbler of sweet & sour mix, not a hint of tequila. Our server cheerfully replaced it with a cold delicious local IPA. My.birger was excellent with an ample serving of shoestring fries. My dining companion had the PCG pasta which he devoured. We will be back.
My wife and I went to the Phoenix City Grille for brunch over the Memorial Day weekend and were happily surprised by it. The service was great the whole visit, the food quality was superb, the wait (to be seated and served) were minimal and the cost was very reasonable. We'll be going back as frequently as we can!
It was great as usual. Restaurant week menu.
We came with 2 other regulars. We ordered from the restaurant week menu. Nice choices. Our appetizers and main courses were very good. My pork was a tad over done. Bit disappointed in both desserts . Yet that was ok for 3 courses. We did order drinks at the bar before during happy hr. and I thought my wine price didn't seem in line with happy hr. prices, yet it was good and maybe just what my friend ordered. I will come back and look forward to trying other things. Samantha was a nice waitress!
Fun time for restaurant week. Great food and it’s in my neighborhood- I’ll be going back again.
It was great as usual. Restaurant week menu.
Restaurant Week options were unique, complete and tasted great. A bargain price made it all the more enjoyable. Friendly staff checked frequently and kept our beverages full constantly. PCG has the best tasting iced tea in all of Phoenix and provides all sweeteners, rather than just a select few to make their job easier. A great meal always, but particularly during Restaurant Week!
First time with this establishment. This is restaurant week, so a crowd was to be expected, but pretty full, so a bit on the noisy side at first, Service was slowed a bit due to crowd, and(maybe) thinly staffed since probably just now getting reopened after Covid. Wasn't rushed during the meal and service was attentive and professional. Food was excellent, nice use of Fresno chiles to spike up our dish(shrimp and grits) perfectly. Wine list good for selection and price, full menu offers wide variety. Won't hesitate to return... read more
