Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

We had not been here in several years and decided we would try it again. Very happy to report it was as good as ever. My husband had the special - flat iron steak - and loved it. I had the salmon and it was very flavorful. We made reservations just a couple of hours before and were seated as soon as we arrived. Service was great too!
The food and service were outstanding. Very low noise level that allowed one to have a conversation with the person sitting across from them. The Crispy Eggplant sandwich is AMAZING!

We introduced an out of town friend to PCG and he was impressed. The service was great and the special was out of this world! WE need to go there more often.
The Phoenix City Grill is one of our favorite restaurants to go to when we drive into the city. The food, service and ambiance is perfect for a quiet dinner or lunch. The menu has so many good choices that it is hard to choose just one; my favorite is the Short Ribs which now is offered in a smaller portion which is perfect for me. I highly recommend the Phoenix City Grill.
