Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Second time here. First was with Work for a Holiday lunch. Everything was great this time too!
I took the mothers here for a Saturday brunch and they loved it.
I love the restaurant, but this experience was a bit lacking on the food. I ordered a sandwich with a bun, but the bun was totally soggy.
Shasha was an incredible server! Delicious and consistent. I go there a couple times a week. Love the bartender too — makes everyone feel they matter — no cliques there …
The ambience is nice and they have small menu but that suggests to me that they concentrate on those dishes and do them well.
PCG has all the attributes of a high end place but without the snootiness or the cost.
