This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

I googled it downtown Phoenix restaurants and this came up. It is nowhere close to downtown, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food in the atmosphere.
The wait staff is always top notch here along with the food and atmosphere. We have been going here for years and will continue to do so. Like that they have smaller portion sizes if you want.
Business response:
Thank you Daniel, we look forward to serving you again soon!
All dishes were delicious and service was excellent. Consistently high quality at PCG!

Dined on the patio. Great heaters for a cool evening. Started with a nice sized bowl of CERVICHE. Muy bien. The wife had the PISTACHIO CRUSTED HALIBUT. It was too well done for her taste. I had the BABY BACK RIBS. These were also over done for my taste, but the sauce was excellent. We additionally ordered a pan of CHILI CORN BREAD and it was wonderful (as always.)
Food was great! I haven’t been to PCG in a long time but portions seemed noticeably smaller to me.

I had been to PCG many times in the past and was happy to see it’s still open and doing great. The food is as great as I remember as is the service. It’s a casual yet very nice restaurant I don’t live close by but it’s worth the drive across town, from Peoria. I will be back.
Business response:
Thank you for making the drive to come see us, Tina. Sheldon
Stopped in for the first time and was very impressed with fresh tasty food selections and great service.
