This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

2nd Restaurant Week experienced at Phoenix City Grill. First time was in May. Excellent both times.
My family went for the $44 special, two of us got the Shrimp & Grits and the other got off the menu. My son and I were disappointed with the entree, I also wasn't too thrilled with the salad, the Bananas Foster was yummy. All in all it was an OK dinner for us. PS I've dined at PCG for several years, since their beginning. Just wasn't up to PCG standards.
Went to this longtime fav for Restaurant Week and, as usual, it did not disappoint. We attended a wine tasting first at the restaurant followed by a dinner reservation. The menu has so many good options, but the chef still surprised with new options on the Restaurant Week menu. If you haven't been in a while or never, do yourself a favor and make this your next dinner spot!
We did the Prisoner wine tasting first in the private dining room and it was excellent. We had dinner immediately afterwards and the food and service was top notch. The bacon wrapped shrimp and the eggplant bites were delicious. Can’t wait to go back. One of my favorite restaurants in town.
Our visit was during Restaurant Week and we ordered off the special prix fixe menu. Everything was delicious but the crispy cauliflower appetizer was dynamite. I hope this dish can be on the regular menu, if it isn't already.
Nice neighborhood restaurant, though maybe not as great as the reviews would make one believe. Great bourbon list, and ice cubes were impressive!
It was our second time there and I ordered the carne asada tacos as I had on my first visit. They were better the first time, the meat this time was pretty overcooked and dry. The food also came out at room temperature, barely warm. I did mention it to our server and she immediately offered me a drink on the house. She was more than willing to have the kitchen redo the tacos and anything else I requested. I realize from the above it sounds like I did not enjoy my lunch, but I did and I will also return to Phoenix City Grill ... read more

Food is consistently excellent and so is the service. Noise level for us was a bit high but they accommodated us with a table and a more secluded area. You’re never disappointed if you have a meal here
