Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Six of us sat next to the front door. Surprisingly, it felt private and was quiet enough for table talk. I was pleasantly surprised. All the food was excellent. My daughter had the beef filet and it was wonderful. My wife the sea bass special. It was also excellent. The rest of us had pasta without meat (for my vegetarian), and two burgers. Great, varied, and creative menu offerings set in a classy atmosphere make every morsel most delicious! This is a hidden jewel amongst reliable restaurants of quality.
We had a leisurely lunch with friends - 3 couples. The waiter gave us time and space to just chat, but still was attentive to our service throughout the meal. The food was, as usual, excellent. The shrimp received particularly great reviews from our table
