Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. The food at PCG is consistently GREAT! I love when you can go to a restaurant, order a meal and return at a later date to find the food exactly the way you remembered it! Consistency is Key and these people are pros!
Consistent excellence! Great base menu with terrific specials which are unique and good values. Service is always superior. Great attention to critical details-ice in cocktails is large cube, different from water, iced tea, etc. smaller squares. Have never been disappointed by this locally owned and operated venue.
Wonderful meal at a reasonable rate. Will definitely visit again the next time that I am in Phoenix!

It was excellent. The Machaca Enchilada small plate was amazing. Then I had some bread pudding after my short rib...I hate bread pudding. This bread pudding was divine.
Everyone was very nice. The waitstaff was attentive and made for a nice meal.
Just amazing every time. Been dining here for 20 years and they have never let me down. Always delicious always great service.
