I went in on Sunday right when they opened. Check in was quick, the nurse was prompt, and they don’t have in-house staff on certain days so we did teledoc with the doctor. I was diagnosed and prescribed my antibiotic quickly. All of my questions were answered well. I was in and out in 35 minutes.
I made an online appointment for 9:40 am the following day. I was in the patient room at 9:39, had my vitals checked soon after and then the doctor came in. Super friendly and helpful staff. Doctor checked me over and told me what was wrong. Gave me options for treatment, which was nice. I highly recommend Physicians Immediate Care for your health needs. I'll be back.
I ( a veteran with a 100% disability) was initially refused service after being referred here by the Rockford VA for care even though they are contracted by the VA directly to provide services to veterans eligible for care. I had to litigate with the billing department while literally in the waiting room having to fight for them to bill the VA instead of myself. MY EXPERIENCE: Before seeing the doctor ask who is there! If it’s the older lady, worth the wait. If not, find a different location. The middle age lady will give no answers and just throw an antibiotic or send you to the ER when she should have just given an antibiotic. Also! They do not perform tests currently. We went with my daughter for symptoms of RSV about a year ago, they swabbed her said no it wasn’t…went to the ER later that day and they swabbed her and she had RSV. My wait time was less than a minute to go back to my room. I was immediately greeted by a nurse that was very friendly and took my vitals. I met with. PA who determined my medical needs The staff was so friendly at check in and when I left. Great place to go
