About this business

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injurie... read more

I took my son in for coughing, congestion, wheezing, V+ about a week ago. Also mentioned it was hard for him to sleep at night, and that he doesn’t want to eat anything. He hasn’t improved since I was there, he was diagnosed with an ear infection..okay fine. I was in shock because he showed 0 signs. The doctor was in the room for about 2-3 minutes rushing out after I waited 2 hours. And I get she was alone I work in the vet field and know how crazy things can get but after waiting 2 hours to be seen you diagnosed my son with... read more

My experience was lousy. I waited 2 hours just to see a Doctor and then she didn't even want to take an X-ray. I had to ask Her to take an x-ray. The doc. seemed very overwhelmed and very tired and annoyed by the end of the night.

Amazing MA amazing Doctor but the front desk check in staff wasnt as helpful. Forced to pay $50 when I informed her I met my deductible and out-of-pocket max with my insurance. Hate having to deal with the hassle of waiting for the billing department to then try and get a refund issued. Why not have a bill later option when we have to sign a financial responsibility form to be seen anyway. It just puts unnecessary burden on a person who is obviously dealing with a pediatric medical issue. Would be a 5 out of 5 if they had a ... read more

Brought my kid for fever. The doctor didnt look at my kids throat only up until we mentioned it. The doctor saw exudates and inspite of me telling that my daughter took Augmentin recently, the doctor prescribed amoxicillin again. Other staff are nice .. appointment system is good. But try to find a doctor that cares.

Unfortunately I don't have a positive experience. 3 days ago I took my three-year-old child to the doctor. the child had an ear infection for several days and a high fever (103.4F) which I could not get rid of with medication (motrin+advil) and he was also taking antibiotics prescribed by his doctor 5 days earlier. we went to pediatric care in forrest hills because his doctor in astoria was out that day. he was examined at pediatric care by a doctor who said that the ear infection is ok now, almost gone, and there is no long... read more
