the doctor came in and saw my daughter literally for 2 minutes, literally didn’t check her out whatsoever; recommended benadryl for a fever of 100 and sent us home

This was our first visit for my son, who hurt his little finger. Unfortunately, they entered my phone number incorrectly, so I couldn’t set up the portal from home. It took me an hour to get a simple portal set up. Once I did, I saw a note stating there was no fracture in his finger. However, the next morning, our primary care physician called to inform us that his finger was actually fractured. I received no notification from the portal about this. The front desk was absolutely horrible. The woman didn’t even acknowledge me and my child when we walked up, I had to say excuse me and she looked at me as if I was bothering her. She was so cold and rude and just yelled orders at me to give her the information she needed. She wanted me to use, the app to fill out my information, but it wasn’t working so she huffed and puffed because she actually had to do her job. I normally like this urgent care but my most recent visit was not a good experience. The doctor did not even touch my daughter when I brung her in for an unknown and quick spreading rash. Upon examination, the doctor Stayed a foot away and asked me to lift her shirt, hands, etc so he could “have a look”. Proceeded to tell me what he thought it was from a foot away and also told me that what he diagnosed was not contagious and needed no antibiotic and she could return to school. I am not sure if there was just one doctor in the office or not but the scheduled wait time was not okay. Once we were able to see the doctor with a follow up with on a consistent two week cold/congestion the doctor only looked in his eyes, mouth, listen to his chest and said he was fine because i told her about some of the remedies i was doing home. No follow up to see if he had covid, strep throat, or sinus issues or even to see the primary or nothing. I was not handed discharge paperwork. I normally do not complain at ... read more
