My daughter went there complaining of chest pain and abdominal pain and they was aware she had the flu beginning of the month. We left there with being told she had a possible viral infection and if it gets worse to call her doctor. No test or recommendations of any xray. Well she did get worse, we took her to her doctor and immediately an xray and another flu/covid test was done. My daughter tested positive for pneumonia. The doctor was more worried about letting me know he was the Medical Director for Boston Children than what I was telling him about my daughter. I’m a nurse and I know how wheezing and crackles sound like. He didn’t do anything for my daughter and I’m just getting from Maria Ferrari Hospital when it could have been avoid it if he had listen to me and my concerns.

Even though I made an appointment, I had to wait for one hour to be sent to the room. Then I had to wait for 10 mins to see a doctor to see her for 5 mins. Terrible experience

I appreciate the care provided by PM Nanuet MD, RN, and the medical assistant, but the experience during wait time was frustrating. Despite having an appointment, I wasn’t seen until 40 minutes later, and only after asking the front desk was I told there would be another 15-minute wait—totaling 55 minutes. This defeats the purpose of scheduling appointments and might as well be treated as walk-ins. Additionally, I was charged a copay upfront without being informed they were behind schedule. Was told at check in that they could xray. Paid copay before being seen, then informed there wasn’t anyone in to do it. Waste of a visit & money. Took 3 days for flu results when told it would be the following morning.

By actually showing concern in wanting to figure out what’s wrong with the child and not asking a 3yr questions that only a teenager-adult knows how to answer!
