They are great people and care about your pets. They are very helpful.
Let me just start with saying the vet techs and some of the receptionists are very kind and compassionate toward us and our dog. However, we will never be returning to this vet. My dog had a growth that looked like a hemorrhoid. I explained this to the vet techs when he got his anal glands done and they checked and said they could not see it which is weird because it was big enough where I personally could see it. Zeus has been going to Point Area Veterinary Clinic for 7 years. Thankfully, during that time, nothing very serious occurred with his health. However, the past couple of months he has been having some issues going to the bathroom. It was clear something was wrong and he was very uncomfortable. The receptionist was VERY unprofessional when I tried to get answers for my dog, when she was ill. Wouldn't even let us come in to see a vet tech, because, unfortunately, between unemployment issues for me, early this year, and lack of open appointments, I had to reschedule a few times, so my Dog wasn't up to date on her immunizations.Had to call back, several times, to get a different receptionist, talk with Dr. Megan, about what was going on, etc. Because of this receptionist, my dog and I weren't treated with the respect ... read more
