October 2019 our dog needed ACL . On the day of the scheduled surgery, my husband took the day off of work due to the fact that we live an hour away one way. As my husband got to Stevens Point, he received a call. He was told the surgery needed to be rescheduled because someone did not order the correct items to perform the surgery. As a result, he had to turn around and drive another hour home, and I had to take 4 hours off another day in order to take my dog to the rescheduled appointment. Absolutely the worst...Don’t take your animals here unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars with no results...And have them give your pet(s) all kinds of treatments without your permission and then charge you...even if you are outside waiting and WAS TOLD they would not treat your pet without your permission first...and no it was not a life or death situation...complete BS...
Get rid of noncaring big business corporations and bring back small town caring and pride like Dr. Tom. He worked so hard to make this a successful place you could trust. Not any more!
A huge thank you to Dr. Lynda and tech Sara for providing us with such a dignified and peaceful goodbye to our beloved 16 year old cat Gwen. You made a very difficult time as respectful and calm as possible, and made our burial and goodbyes a meaningful day of closure. Top notch vet vlinic!
I want to start with I have seen Dr Tom many times and he did great. I brought my 6 month old pug in to see Dr Brown and it was horrible! He was demeaning, made me feel like I was a neglative almost abusive pug parent, this was the 3rd time we brought her in, which he checked like he didn't believe us. He did blood work and when going through it he said it tells him nothing. With NO SYMPATHY he told us with 99.9 certainty she has PDE and will die within a month, even was joking at one point. My girls always come in with tails wagging. The doctors and staff treat them with live and kindness. No need to go anywhere else!
First time dog owner and first time visiting a Vet. Being a first timer, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the friendly service to both myself and my puppy (Remi). I definitely found my permanent Veterinary Clinic. Thank you!!!
