Glad I bought it! This item replaced a 16 year old unit, and it really keeps my pool clean! I have pines and a crepe myrtle nearby, and the Polaris gets all of the debris. I especially like that this comes with new hose, connector, net, pressure relief valve, the works. Glad I bought it!

Overall a good machine The Polaris 165 is for inground vinyl or fiberglass pools 16 X 32 or 16 X 40. That is to say that the amount of hose in the box will work for those two sizes. After that, you have to do more cutting and adjusting. You might even have to buy extra hose, I don't know. The instructions that come with the box are so-so to use. The English has no spacing between words but generally you can figure out what it is saying. The Polaris website has the full manual but there isn't that much more information in it.... read more

works wonderful!! We have had aboveground pool for 20 years. Now with kids grown we don't have quite as much help cleaning. We had a Polaris at first and really liked it. The new cleaners are a little harder for my husband and I to lift in and out of pool and program them. So bought another Polaris. We made the right decision. Works so easy . Uses return water and goes all around the pool. No problem with hose getting tangeled if you put away properly and don't get it all jumbled up. Really love it. And the price is right!
Polaris Vac Sweep Great value for the product, it has kept the pool crystal clear so far. We only use a couple times a week. It replaced a ray vac that lasted 10 years. This one stays on top the water and circles the pool using its wheels to go along the wall. The bag rides along the bottom to pick up.
works well, just takes a long time Takes along time to get entire pool. but it works at lower pump speeds so I just put it on when the pump runs for 8 hours at night. Works better than other leaf and debris cleaners I've had.
