Good idea, needs a better bag design The device itself seems clever and innovative, and it moves well in my pool. However, the debris-catching bag is seriously flawed. Within 24 hours of first use, mine had 2 large holes, one on either side. Replacement bags appear to cost about $25 each, making this an extremely costly sweep. I will try to solve the problem by making my own out of heavier material, but the company needs to work on this flaw.
Great pool cleaner that saves me a lot of time. I had previously tried a suction-side cleaner that didn't work so well due to inadequate suction, so I thought I'd try a pressure-side cleaner. The Polaris 165 is fantastic. I have a 25,000 gallon pool that is L-shaped with a deep end and shallow end; the pool gets no shade and fills with leaves in the fall; and this cleaner keeps the leaves out and circulates the water so that the filter works more effectively. Make A Clean Pool Easy This is my third Polaris 165. The good part is that it works wonders. My pool is clean and there is very little fuss to getting it going. The bad part is that I've needed to replace it twice in 10 years. At this point I just figure on that and it's still worth it to me.

ACCEPTABLE RESULTS AT REASONABLE PRICE This is the third Polaris 165 I have purchased over about 10 years; it is low maintenance and cleans about 90-95% of the pool very well; a good investment on an "annual cost" basis.
Good Product for the money Great transaction It is a good pool sweeper. Would have liked a better one, but the next step up is about 300 more. there is no mid range sweeper. 200 or 500. But to the seller Thank you
Very nice! I received my new 165 3 days after I ordered, couldn't believe it was shipped so quick. Great job! It was exactly what I was looking for and everything needed was in the box. No problem at all.
Cleans my pool pretty well I'm pleased with my polaris. It doesn't cover all the bottom without adjusting the hose. It also does not wotk on the side of my pool. However, it gets alot of debris and the debris doesn't go in the filter.
Great sweep for above-ground vinyl pools This is my second one, first one lasted 7 years and does an excellent job cleaning an above ground vinyl pool, gets almost all of the pine needles!! Just need to set up the water pressure correctly so it doesn't get too much and flip over and spray everywhere, this is much easier to do with the updated valve hook-up.
