POlaris 360 Review My neighbor's oak tree crashed into my pool last August. We had it cleaned and taken care of quickly before the long winter in the mountains of PA. I had a lot of debris sitting in the pool over the winter. The Polaris 360 did an excellent job cleaning up the mess for me. I bought the silt/sand bag because her trees continually cause me grief and dirt. I also tend to have an algae problem. The sand/silt bag however will not contain the fine pollen/dirt. I will have to use my vacuum and sent it out of the p... read more

Works Well In A Small Pool I have had my Polaris 360 since the pool was built in 2000. I have a smaller than normal pool that is 6 feet at the deepest point. It has no problems navigating corners, going up hill, or backing up. I have had it repaired once ($150) and the hose has to be replaced periodically, but other than that, it has worked well. My pool man is surprised how long it's lasted. I'm sure I'm jinxing it now that I'm giving it a good review, but it really has done a good job.

Works Well if you understand it's limitations and set your expectations accordingly I live in Texas and don't close my pool up for the Winter, the Polaris 360 runs 365 days a year for about 10 hours a day. I just installed my "2nd" Polaris 360 because I've reached the point where the previous 360 is in need of yearly significant maintenance ($100 or more). I am at the point after 10 years that my previous 360 needed a new body, a factory rebuild kit, and hose wall connection. When I considered the cost of those parts alone, ... read more

Does everything I expected I put off buying a pool cleaner for years but finally bought one last month. It was the best investment I could have made. I have not had to manually clean the pool since. I can now sit back and truly enjoy having a pool. If you don't have one you should get one. It makes pool ownership so much easier.

Replaced my Jandy Rayvac Works great so far. No need to buy any other parts. Replaced my Jandy Rayvac after I couldn't find a replacement. Easy to install, I just unscrewed the old adapter from the pool wall and screwed the new adapter in. Piece of cake. It actually takes less water preasure to run then the rayvac did.

Good pool cleaner, high Amazon price. You can buy this new for $419. Just shop around online. I just obtained a replacement for my 360 which was 10 years old.

Polaris 360 Best pressure side pool cleaner for the money. That is what other reviews in other websites said and that has been my experience over 3 years. Once in a blue moon it will get its sweep tail stuck in its vacuum port (and then we simply pull it out), otherwise, no problems.

changing my review to much more favorable one. After redoing all my plumbing and using an electric robot for the time it was being done, I went back got another unit and with correct pressure and new piping in pool the unit works great. Very little "tuning" and the one problem i am having with reversing valve, the company called me back immediately and gave me input to correct problem. I am comfortable recommending this if your pool has correct pump pressure and good pipes to deal with the back pressure generated when the un... read more

Just as promised After receiveing the $85 quote to repair my aging Polaris cleaner I knew it was time for a new one. With all the incentives on the 380 or 3900 I was going to go with the 380 which was actually cheaper (after incentives) than the 280 but I started asking around - mostly pool professionals - and all (8 for 8) recommeneded the 280 even if the price were higher. We are happy with the purchase and I was able to save over $100 by buying off Amazon vs. any retail store. There were a few other online sites where it ... read more
