extremely easy to install, delivery was fast and it is a great product! Polaris is the only one to buy!!!
Be mechanically enclined. Once I comprehended the instructions on installing it did the job better than my old one which has been a good one. I called the number for assistance in installing and was 27 in line so I hung up and used trial and error and finally got it up and running. This is my third Polaris since 1983 that I have used.

Works Great! This unit works great! Our pool looks amazing! We shopped in the stores and they were $300 more. It also arrived in 24 hours. Highly recommended.
Not what I expected Followed all instructions and when it is first placed in pool , seems to run great HOWEVER, unit seems to need a lot of babysitting. The filter at the pool outlet on the polaris hose fills up with debris and after an hour, has lost a great deal of suction, resulting in unit stopping and eventually floating. I like it when it works but seems to need far too much baby sitting to keep working properly. Was hoping, I could throw this in pool and come back a day later to a clean pool. A bit of a challenge to get everything to "balance" but works... After mucking around for a few days, finally got all the pieces to balance. Needed to purchase the restrictor / eyeball regulator for a second return line. I can't believe they don't include this simple plastic part for the price of this thing. Hurts the value. Once installed - needed to drill a few more holes int he regulator to get everything to balance and not get a "low flow" warning when the Polaris goes into back-up mode.
