Works like a champ Replaced my old unit, since replacing parts continually got to be too expensive. The only thing I don't like is the Velcro bag. Won't last long. I keep buying the bags with zippers, they last much longer and are sooo much easier to clean out. The original Velcro bag, very hard to clean out, when shaking out the Velcro closes up, very impractical and time consuming. Zipper bags 100 % better. Only 3 stars due to the bag issue
Sweeper works great, hose doesn't last We bought this in 2015. The sweeper works very well and cleans the bottom of the pool. Here in California, we leave it in the pool year round. In the past few months, the hose has started deteriorating - like slits open up in various places so the water escapes and the pressure drops causing the sweeper to not move as well. Don't remember when I bought this. Does a great job cleaning the pool. Had this several years now and still works like new.
Working great Purchased a few months ago, when our other Polaris stopped working after 4 years. This one seems even better at suctioning than the first one. However, it doesn't really do sides of pool well, and sometimes seems to get stuck in corners. Suction is great though, I could actually see the track it took on bottom of pool the first time I put it in. (it had been a couple weeks without vacuum).
Works great unless you have ozone injection. Since buying this, I have had buoyancy issues. My pool has ozone injection. The ozone creates too much buoyancy in the catch bag and as such, the cleaner will not stay on the bottom of the pool. I have tried balancing it, replacing the float and more. The bubbles entering the bag throws the balance off.

A full unit-Was brand new. This arrived new in the box,complete unit, perfect condition and well packaged. It cost less than a replacement body-only part and has worked like a champ. I'm guessing it was a return. Anyway, well worth it and now I have spare parts!
Happy with this purchase when our first Polaris died - after 1 1/2 yrs of use in our not so big inground pool, I researched Polaris Vac- Sweeps and decided on just purchasing the same one we had- BUT for a few hundred dollars LESS than the pool store :-) We keep our pool open April - Nov. this vac gets lots of use (we take it out when we swim ) and its operating great!
Great pool vacuum Bought this to replace an old suction side cleaner. This works so much better. Definetly recommend getting the fine particle bag. We have a sand filter and this picks up the tiny sand particles that make throughly the filter.
