I LOVE MY CLEANER Ok so I read all about different cleaners so I can't compare, but we put in a new in ground 16x 24x37 L shaped pool, it is a large pool! I run my Polaris at night and I have never had to clean the pool manually, he does it all! All I have to do is clean skimmers out and brush the steps off! He is amazing, parts are cheap and he is easy to run and repair! I bought the sand silt bag and would use nothing else but that bag. I do like the zipper bag better then the velcro, but they do not sell the silt bag with... read more

Pricey, expensive to maintain over time but works best This is my 3rd in the 18 years we've had this home with a pool. **** update after 11 months of use below**** The 380 runs about 3 hours a day ( large pool). Replacement parts such as the collection bag are expensive, I use a piece of panty hose once the bag wears out. The tires do wear down and a soft rubber shoe goop type stuff can be used to "re-tread". I use pieces of scotch brite pad to replace the sweeper pad. ( complete rebuild kits including bearings are about $22... read more

Pretty good cleaner, It works well, poolman review First, you must have a separate pump plumbed in for the Polaris cleaner or you cannot install this cleaner. It needs it's own pump to work off the pressure (return) side of the pool verse the suction (skimmer/side port) side. I have several customers with these cleaners installed (Two with Polaris 180 models which means that after 15 years they are still working fine) and all work off the same principal. The Polaris pump sends high pressure to the line the Polaris is attache... read more

Make sure you know this unit works on the output side I bought this unit and (stupid me) realized it works on the output side of my filter. The previous unit was on the input side. I used the hardware provided to restrict flow on various outlets so the Polaris had sufficient flow through the connected outlet to work. Unfortunately, it never worked well. I eventually replaced it with a unit that connects on the inlet side, and that works much better. I donated the unit to my son who didn't have a unit at all. He got it workin... read more

Wow! Very happy with this purchase. I used to have a Ray Vac years ago, and this by far beats that. Great power and picks up large debris.

Works Well I have this cleaner in my 40,000 gallon pool. It works well. No problems with it. I would imagine the 480 having 4 jets as opposed to the 3 jets this one has would have better pickup power. It does get stuck behind my ladder from time to time. The fix for me was the ladder guard from Polaris. I also recommend the sand filter bag. If you use the regular bag, it will not contain sand well. The sand bag is woven more tightly.

POlaris 360 Review My neighbor's oak tree crashed into my pool last August. We had it cleaned and taken care of quickly before the long winter in the mountains of PA. I had a lot of debris sitting in the pool over the winter. The Polaris 360 did an excellent job cleaning up the mess for me. I bought the silt/sand bag because her trees continually cause me grief and dirt. I also tend to have an algae problem. The sand/silt bag however will not contain the fine pollen/dirt. I will have to use my vacuum and sent it out of the p... read more

Polaris 360 Best pressure side pool cleaner for the money. That is what other reviews in other websites said and that has been my experience over 3 years. Once in a blue moon it will get its sweep tail stuck in its vacuum port (and then we simply pull it out), otherwise, no problems.
