Great, great--GREAT! I have a fiberglass shell built over a cement bottom and steel walled pool. It has sharp bottom edges and tough corners. I am LOVING this cleaner. The basket holds a lot, it catches anything it passes over, and is easy to maintain. It somehow gets the sandy debris without clogging up as well as the larger items. But unlike other models, it gets the edges and corners too!! I've not been able to get my pool this clean with all the landscaping I have around my yard. The Polaris 8050 sport was terrible. It didn’t pick up the dirt, it would stay in the deep end and not go to the shallow end and finally it just stopped working after two weeks. I will never purchase a Polaris product again

In yr one, it would just shut of and not start, like it has a circuit breaker that pops. Now, in year 5, I put it in the water, hit start, turns on, hit the start button again to get it running and it just loses power. For something so expensive, it should last much longer than this.

This little robot was great until last week. Its only about two months old and one of the tracks no longer spins. It was included with the cost of my pool so I doubt my pool builder will do anything to fix it. I guess I have to find a dealer.

I don’t know how, but leave this little guy alone for an hour or so and the bottom of the pool is magically clean! I call mine Tantor.

It’s awful! This is the worst unit I’ve ever owned. It gets stuck on fittings. It will not suck in leaves, and will not hit the entire pool

A suggestion that will improve pool coverage is to ensure the cleaner cable is entering the pool at the center of the length of the pool and that only the required amount of cable is allowed into the pool. Essentially, you should only allow enough cable into the pool to cover the furthest point from the cable entry location in the pool. This cleaners works fine for smaller pools but not for a big pool. I have a 34000 gallon pool and it only cleaned 2/3 of the pool. I recently returned it for the Sport 9450. So I have not tried the Sport 9450 because it has been raining for 4 days. So hopefully it will clean my entire pool.
