I have had the Polaris 8050 for a few weeks and use it every other day in a gunite 40' x 20' pool. It worked well after minimal assembly and really cleans the pool floor, walls, and water tiles well. As others have noted it is not so good with steps. On the down side I usually have to run the 8050 twice at a time as my pool is surrounded by 3 oak trees and one maple tree.
