Good product. This filter bag is of as high a quality as you would get from Leslie's or any other pool store.... except it's less expensive. I like to keep a couple of these extra (regular and silt/sand) because they do wear out from sun and chlorine.
OEM Replacement This is a replacement for the silt bag that comes from Polaris. The bag traps a finer material, but the Velcro on the unit does need to be cleaned well when emptying the bag before re-securing, seems some people would prefer a zipper, but for this application the Velcro works well. I also have a large leaf bag with a zipper and it sometimes gets a little sticky with sand etc, but it has never been stuck...the Velcro may be a little bit of a cost saving measure. Still a good piece for the price.
better than the bigger mesh bag; hard to clean but worth it The mesh is finer than the mesh on the "regular" bag we used to have on the Polaris. A lot of the stuff in our pool is fine and small, so this bag catches more of it, so we like that. It's a bit hard to clean, but worth the few extra minutes of time. A bit on the expensive side for what it is.
LUV IT I bought this for my Polaris 280 . This works great as addition other than the leaf bag provided free with the Polaris. I was using just regular knee high stocking to pick up smaller debris and sand in pool but have to admit this does much better job. Fits on unit and you can empty bag from side with Velcro opening. Very well made. Glad I purchased it.
Picks up EVERYTHING! Love it! Using it on a Polaris 2-jet cleaner, and it picks up every grain of sand in the pool! I use the leaf bag first, and once the large trash is out I put this thing on. Leaves my pool immaculate!
Pool Bag Dependable and long lasting. No complaints at all. Very good quality. We have been using these bags for years and they are a great product.
Works good but needs a zippere I like this silt bag, it catches just about everything in my pool, a zipper opening would be better. The velcro works but I have to work with it a bit to seal it up
It is the best silt bag you can buy for your Polaris 280! I needed a bag that would pick up smaller debris. I use it all year except for in the fall when there are too many leaves to pick up.
Genuine Polaris Bags This is a genuine Polaris part fits my Polaris 280. Good Price also a Prime item. I use this bag in the swimming months and use a ll Purpose or leaf bag during the winter months in I have a lot of pine needles falling into the pool.
