Booster pump This booster pump is a good fit fo rthe replacement. 3/4 HP is plenty to drive teh Polaris. Quiterer than the original pump. Save yourself time - the quick connect hookup is not quick and it does not connect well. Use PVC pipe.
Works as promised I was able to replace my broken pump without any trouble. I am only moderately mechanical and electrical experienced. Using the old pump as my guide this was relatively easy, although not quick.
Easy replacement A great price for a Polaris replacement pump, and the changeout was easy. Only difficulty was that the centerline of the pump inlet (suction) is about 1/2" higher than the same model Polaris pump I was replacing - so some re-plumbing was required. Fortunately, the pump comes with a length of flexible pipe and Polaris quick-lock connectors, which offered the perfect solution.
Easy install, so far so good Came with all the pieces and was basically a direct replacement. As mentioned, check he nuts around the drive housing. Some were not fully tightened and you will get a leak.
Does the trick, but I would get one without the flexible hose if it cost less. It works well and is considerably quieter than my old pump. However, I would forgo the flexible hose mounting if given the choice again. It really didn't make installation that much easier, and in fact, it was a bit tougher to position the pump in a way that did not kink, pinch or loop the hose.
Great price, great product Our previous booster pump burnt out after it got turned on by a family member without turning on the main pump, and I wont say any names.... We were short on money and knew these guys cost a pretty penny but to my surprise I found it here for a great price and it was exactly what we were in need of for a replacement.
Great pump Reasonable price. It works as advertised, and comes with all fittings necessary to install it to the existing pool plumbing.
Great Polaris booster pump This pump works great and is extremely quiet. It was easy to install, especially if you know how to use PVC pipe. I would definitely buy another one! Amazon Rocks!
Easy Swap This pump arrived ahead of time, well-packaged and was a snap to replace the discontinued model of this pump. Being a replacement for the older one, it only took about two hours to complete the job. It came with new fittings for the hoses if needed.
