Great pump, works well. The pump is just what i needed. It was a perfect replacement for the booster pump that had "died". installation was straight forward. The only trouble i had was with the quick snap couplers which were very difficult to "seat" over the supplied hose. Overall: great pump, great service. I'm happy.

Recommended. Worked out perfect!!!! Just follow the instructions and you're good to go. Make sure you spin the motor at the back shaft or you will be a little frustrated. Pop off the cap on the back before you start and spin it. Just locked from the time they spend on the shelf.

EASY TO USE!!! I receive the item last night and it took me about 20 minutes to install without an issue after watching a view by poolcenterdotcom on "hot to replace a polaris pool pump motor. It was very simple after I watched the video but pay attention to the detail there specially the safetly concerns. I was concerned that the product would be smaller than the one I was replacing or cheaper quality. It's works so good that I don't even hear it. It's the same one that I replaced it with. Easy setup any one can install it. Also a good price as compared to local pool stores.
The trick to the high pressure polaris hose installation difficulty Fast shipping! Item just as described. Installed myself and works perfectly. The hoses with the quick fittings are a pain and took the longest. Some say boiling water will soften the hose. I didn't do that. I used wd40 to a slip them on the threaded connectors. Then to pull the collar down enough to snap into place the red lock clip, I used a pair of needle nosed pliers (closed) an pry between the collar and threaded part slowly moving my way around the edge... read more
