Polaris PB4-60 booster pump from Amazon.com This was the same pump that I was replacing but the description of the item was enought to know what pump I needed. Delivery time was less than a week which was surprising. I had replaced the current pump, however intructions were sufficient to do the installation. Overall very satisfied with the the pump and saved quite a bit from retail price at local pool supply stores.
Polaris PB4-60 Booster Pump The new pump is exactly like the old pump, fit right in the existing plumbing and wiring. It worked perfectly when I flipped the switch. These pumps are very repairable, I replaced the seals twice. I put silicone sealer on the part that covers the impeller, the thin little oring didn't reseal, this worked fine for 5 years. I replaced the pump because the bearing on the pump end of the motor went out. Corrosion was so bad I couldn't get it apart without damage. Shipped to me quickly, very satisfied... read more
Quality and Quick The Polaris motor and pump was delivered to my door within 3 days. It was a quick like for like replacement - plumbing, electrical, etc... My pool did not have a chance to get too dirty for the Polaris to handle it
Excellent replacement pump and installation package Excellent replacement pump. Mine was delivered to my house 4 days after ordering. It looks just like my old one and came with a full installation package (parts and instructions). I'm not an expert by any means but still had the old pump out and the new pump installed and running in less than two hours. It's even quieter than my old pump. It's been running every day for a month now with no problems.
Great product & Service The Polaris replacement pump was shipped promptly, packed well. Received in perfect condition before I expected it. The pump was easy to install. I use 110 amp current so had to rewire the motor from 220 amp. This was easily done because there is a clear instruction plate on the pump motor. I needed this to replace the original that was 25 years old and so was happy to get it quickly.
POLARIS PB4-60, 3/4HP 115/230V BOOSTER PUMP Take it from someone who doesn't consider himself mechanically inclined. If I was able to replace this pump myself anyone can do it and save themselves some money. Received the pump as expected and replaced it with no problems. I look to Amazon for all my pool parts before going anywhere. I have saved quite a bit of money to bad I couldn't put my money back into my local economy but these days you have to find ways to save a buck. Thanks Amazon
Easy installation Everything included with the pump including new hoses and clamps. Removed the old pump and installed the new pump in less than an hour. I would definately recommend without reservation this product to anyone needing a new booster pump.
Polaris Pump Excellent & so much cheaper than ordering it from your local pool store. Highly recommend it, but if you are fuzzy with electrical work, have an electrician help you out!
