Check filter bag, if full it can weigh the cleaner down on one side. 2. Remove the head float and shake it. If there is water in the float, order a new one. 3. A little disappointed in quality control from Polaris Hose was leaking in multiple spots. Had to replace several parts immediately. A little disappointed in quality control from Polaris. Once I fixed the problems, the 280 worked well.
