The first couple days I had to empty the filter mainly because it wasn't cleaned properly for a while. It keeps sand-like materials in the filter it comes with really well. Great Investment for a dirty pool.. We setup this Polaris as soon as we received it, since our old one was broken. This was an easy install, less than 10 minutes. It quickly moves around the pool and was good about picking up even the smallest bit of dirt and grass clippings we tend to get. Overall we have had it for less than a week and have been very satisfied.
