It is great to see it whip around the pool This was a replacement for our "old" Polaris which was nearly 30 years old. It is great to see it whip around the pool. Does a great job of keeping the pool clean.

Excellent product I have had mine now 16+ years and never needed a single spare part but I take mine out after cleaning and store it inside. You damage it by leaving it into the pool for chlorine to destroy it. In mine even the blue color hasn't faded yet.

Gear-driven more reliable? I'm a first time pool owner and researched cleaners at length. I have several friends with pools and they all use and like Polaris cleaners so this review may be a bit biased. I heard that the 360 and 380 are driven by belts which will need replacing at some point. The 3900 is gear driven and has more features but have heard that they've been returned more often than the others have.
