Durability The oem filter is the best in my opinion.
It does what is designed to do I get one of these every two or three years they tend to get little tiny holes in them from the all the debris in the bottom of the pool after about a year. Still worth the money
Never buy generic I had previously purchased two generic bags in order to save money. The velcro on them wear out very quickly. I decided this time to purchase the Polaris as that is the sweeper I have and it fits much better zipper and velcro in much better condition than generic brand.
Get what you pay for Title says it here. Had a pool for many years now and the original bags are better for me than the others. Many of the cheaper bags tear up quickly. I have had the same original bags like this for years, and even though the mesh is dirty, the bag still holds its own!
Works great, especially for leaves I've only had this bag for a few days. It works great, especially for leaves. I've been buying the less expensive bags for the last couple years to save money. But with all the other bags, the leaves works get stuck in the throat of the bag and I'd have to empty the bag with at least half the bag empty. Pretty good purchase They are a pretty good purchase for the price. The zippers wear out a little sooner than I like to see.
Polaris bag It costs a lot more than the generic bags, but it is worth it because it doesn't have to be velcroed to the base since it is part of the bag. It holds the dirt and leaves well and it is easy to clean.
Polaris brand bags last much longer than the knockoffs I had been going through cheap knockoff bags like crazy, I think I had one last less than a week.I bought this Polaris branded bag back in July 2019 and it lasted two years. It's in the pool 24/7, including all winter and runs a few hours a day.Kinda hard to drop $40 on one bag when there are two packs for $15, but it'll pay off in the long run.
Polaris Replacement Bag The bag works as expected. The zipper is strong easy to unzip while wet. I originally bought a cheaper brand and the quality was not good and it was hard to unzip the bag while wet. Had to turn around and get the Polaris replacement bag and it is worth the price difference.
